Why Pay For Design?

Paying for a design provides you with a professional service from an experienced designer. You can expect to have the very best in garden design and an end product that is rarely achievable outside of the design studio. Moreover, it allows you to control the cost of the project. Design provides you with the blueprint from which to obtain a series of quotations- in short, it allows you to get the very best deal in terms of cost. It is far easier and much more cost effective to re-draw a design than it is to make mistakes throughout the landscaping phase; worse still, without a visualisation drawing, you may not discover that something is not to your liking before it is too late; beautiful design is priceless.  

Concept Design

The first stage in the design process is to produce some concept drawings based on an initial meeting with the client. These provide the broad layout and theme of the garden but lack specific planting and building specifications.

Visualisation

As part of the process we provide perspective drawings that allow you to easily visualise how your finished garden will look. Many of our clients find that this takes the 'fear' out of the project.

Master Plan

Once a concept has been agreed, a master plan is created; this plan contains all the information that is required to build the garden, such as: specifications, feature drawings and measurements.

Planting scheme

A detailed planting scheme outlining the plant positions, sizes, quantities and varieties is used to provide the information required to plant the garden.
